1. The Boy Who Could Fly ✨
All children grow up, except one.
In London, there lived the Darling family.
There were three children: Wendy, John,
and Michael. They loved to play games
and tell stories about a magical boy
named Peter Pan.
Their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darling,
thought these were just make-believe stories.
But their dog Nana knew better.
She was not just any dog - she was
the children's nursemaid, and she took
very good care of them.
One night, Mrs. Darling saw a strange boy
at the window. He flew away quickly,
but his shadow got stuck!
Nana caught the shadow and Mrs. Darling
rolled it up and put it in a drawer.
2. Peter Returns 🧚
A few nights later, Peter Pan came back
to find his shadow. With him was
a tiny fairy named Tinker Bell.
She sparkled with golden light.
The children woke up and saw Peter
trying to stick his shadow back on with soap.
Wendy helped him sew it on properly.
"Thank you," said Peter. "I live in Neverland
with the Lost Boys. They are boys who fell
out of their prams when their nurses
weren't looking."
"Can you really fly?" asked John.
"Of course!" said Peter. "I'll teach you.
Think happy thoughts!"
Tinker Bell sprinkled fairy dust
on the children. They thought their
happiest thoughts and soon they were
floating in the air!
3. Flying to Neverland 🌟
"Come with me to Neverland!" said Peter.
"You can be a mother to the Lost Boys, Wendy."
The children flew out the window,
following Peter through the night sky.
They flew past Big Ben, over the clouds,
and toward the second star to the right.
"Straight on till morning!" Peter called out.
Below them, the sea sparkled like diamonds.
Islands appeared, and finally they saw it -
Neverland! It had forests, mountains,
a lagoon, and an Indian camp.
4. The Lost Boys 🏝️
The Lost Boys were waiting for Peter.
There was Slightly, Tootles, Nibs, Curly,
and the Twins. They lived in a home
underground, with a big tree growing above it.
But Neverland had dangers too.
The evil Captain Hook and his pirates
sailed the seas. Hook hated Peter Pan
because Peter had cut off his hand
in a sword fight.
A crocodile had eaten the hand and now
followed Hook everywhere, wanting to eat
the rest of him! The crocodile had also
swallowed a clock, so Hook always heard
"tick-tock, tick-tock" when the
crocodile was near.
5. Adventures Begin 🗡️
Wendy became like a mother to the Lost Boys.
She told them bedtime stories and
took care of them. John and Michael
joined in all their adventures.
They had tea parties with the fairies,
swam with the beautiful mermaids
in the lagoon, and played with
Tiger Lily and her Indian tribe.
One day, the pirates captured Tiger Lily!
Peter bravely rescued her from
Marooner's Rock, where the pirates
had left her.
Tiger Lily's father, the Indian Chief,
was so grateful that he made Peter
and the children members of their tribe.
6. Captain Hook's Trick 🏴☠️
Captain Hook was very angry.
He wanted to get rid of Peter Pan
once and for all. The pirate discovered
where Peter's hideout was.
Hook found out that Wendy and the boys
were homesick. He sent his pirates
to capture them when they came out
of their underground home.
"We'll make them walk the plank!"
Hook laughed his evil laugh.
But first, Hook had a terrible plan.
He left a poisoned cake for Peter,
who was sleeping underground.
7. Tinker Bell Saves Peter 💫
Tinker Bell saw the poisoned cake.
She knew Peter would eat it when he woke up.
The brave little fairy flew as fast
as she could and got there just as
Peter was about to take a bite.
"No, Peter!" she cried, and knocked
the cake away. But some of the poison
touched her, and she began to fade.
"Tink!" cried Peter. "Don't leave me!"
"If children believe in fairies,
clap your hands!" Peter called out.
All around the world, children clapped,
and Tinker Bell's light grew bright again.
She was saved!
8. The Pirate Ship ⚓
Peter flew to Hook's ship to save his friends.
The pirates had tied up Wendy, John, Michael,
and the Lost Boys. They were about to make
them walk the plank!
"Tick-tock, tick-tock!"
Hook heard the sound and turned white
with fear. But it wasn't the crocodile -
it was Peter, making the sound to scare Hook!
Peter jumped onto the ship.
"I'm here, Hook!" he shouted.
9. The Great Fight ⚔️
Peter and Hook fought with their swords
all over the ship. Up the masts they climbed,
across the deck they danced.
Peter was quick and clever,
while Hook was strong but scared.
The Lost Boys broke free and helped
fight the pirates. Even Wendy grabbed a sword!
Finally, Peter cornered Hook
at the edge of the ship.
"This time you've lost, Hook!" said Peter.
Hook looked down and saw the crocodile
waiting in the water, its mouth wide open.
With a great cry, Hook jumped -
right into the crocodile's mouth!
The pirates surrendered, and Peter
became captain of the ship.
10. Time to Go Home 🏠
"It's time to go home," Wendy said sadly.
She missed her parents.
Peter flew the ship all the way to London.
The Lost Boys decided to stay with
the Darling family, who adopted them all.
Mr. and Mrs. Darling were so happy
to have their children back,
they welcomed everyone with open arms.
But Peter wouldn't stay.
"I don't want to grow up," he said.
"Will you come back?" Wendy asked.
11. The Promise 🌙
"I'll come for you every spring,"
Peter promised. "We'll fly to Neverland
and have new adventures!"
He kept his promise. Every year,
Peter returned, and Wendy flew with him
to Neverland. Even when she grew older,
she never forgot the boy who wouldn't grow up.
And if you believe in magic and happy thoughts,
maybe one night you'll see Peter
at your window too.
Just remember - second star to the right,
and straight on till morning!
